Faure's Requiem & Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb

A truly magical spring evening

A concert in celebration of life and the world around us. We begin with Britten’s joyous and celebratory Jubilate Deo, followed by Rejoice in the Lamb in praise of all created things including letters of the alphabet, animals, and music.

The second half of the evening invites the audience to revisit the wonder and amazement that children see in nature with the meditative and serene A Farewell by Elaine Hagenberg. Finally, we close with Faure’s magnificent Requiem featuring some of his most beautiful melodies.
