Sonority

A brand new, exciting female voice chamber choir in Sheffield.

Sonority Choir is a new kind of choir. It brings people together to explore female voice music in a collaborative way. It provides space for its members to lead, conduct, compose, arrange and to shape the choir into what they want it to be.

The choir's five aims are:

To give talented singers the opportunity to sing in a top-quality choir
To promote female composers, arrangers and performers
To encourage, train and nurture female conductors and choir leaders
To regularly bring high-quality, creative performances to unusual venues gaining a local and national reputation
To establish exciting collaborations with venues, artists, writers and composers
