Volunteer with Classical Sheffield!

‘Classical Sheffield in the Winter Garden’ is less than three weeks away and we are in the final stages of the planning process. We’re extremely excited to hear some wonderful groups perform and hope that you are too!

We have some brilliant opportunities to volunteer for the events Classical Sheffield is organising 12 - 19 May, in collaboration with Music in the Round for the Sheffield Chamber Music Festival.

Volunteering with Classical Sheffield gives you lots of demonstrable experience in an arts organisation and events management setting, which is great for the CV, and, more importantly, we guarantee you will have lots of fun! No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a can do attitude! We have the following volunteer positions available:

Where: Winter Garden

When: Saturday 12th May (9:30AM - 5:00PM) and/or Saturday 19th May (9:30AM - 5:00PM)

Venue Coordinator

The Venues Coordinator will liaise between the Front of House Coordinator and the performing group. You will be there to facilitate the smooth running of the performance and look after the ensemble. You will confirm with the group when they are ready to perform and inform the Front of House Coordinator when the performance is about to begin.

Front of House Coordinator

The Front of House Coordinator will liaise with the Venues Coordinator to ensure performances run to time as well as manage the crowd, ensuring that any issues are managed quickly and efficiently.

Classical Sheffield Ambassadors

You are the face of Classical Sheffield! You will be required to distribute flyers for the events and talk to members of the public about classical music goings-on in the city.
