The Merlin is a thriving arts centre and a unique place for celebrating the creative potential of young people with special educational needs.

The Merlin is a special community theatre set in the scenic grounds of Tintagel House, Nether Edge, Sheffield. The Merlin (widely considered to be one of the most beautiful little theatres in the country) has recently had a major renovation to restore it back to its former glory. Sadly due to flood damage we had to close for 5 years, but now thanks to a miraculous £1m’s fundraising the Merlin is back as good as new. Better than that it’s been completely refitted with luxury seating and state of the art LED lighting! Fit for the next century and reopening a much loved magical venue for Sheffield and beyond. So, the Merlin is now available to you for hire at half terms, holidays and weekends for your performances, concerts, craft fairs and events. There are even special rates for community groups.
