Tapton Hall
A unique blend of elegance, history and first class service in a beautiful setting
For centuries, this house has been an integral part of the Sheffield landscape. Tapton Hall’s distinguished history has seen it serve as a home to great names and a witness to great events. It was built by steel master Edward Vickers in 1855 and later became the home of George Wilson famous for his snuff. In 1965 the Masonic Hall Company acquired and refurbished it, adding an extension in 1965.
