We bring together works by three composers who (either themselves or their families) emigrated to the United States: Eric Korngold’s The Sea Hawk suite, George Gershwin’s enduringly popular Rhapsody in Blue, and Bela Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra. Celebrated Sheffield pianist Benjamin Frith joins us for the Gershwin.
