Guild of Strings Inaugural Concert
Sheffield's newest classical music offering - the Guild of Strings inaugural concert
The inaugural concert of the Sheffield Guild of Strings features music by Edward Elgar, Gustav Holst, Benjamin Britten and Edvard Grieg. Presented by Polly Ives, this family-friendly concert will take the audience on a journey through the English countryside to the rhythmic dances of Norway. This accessible-for-all concert will feature choreography, visual displays and sensory activities for the children and the young at heart to be involved with, or simply sit back and enjoy the beautiful music.
All proceeds will go to Jessie's Fund, a charity based in York which helps children with additional and complex needs or serious illness to communicate through music.
