After Hours
South Yorkshire's leading chorus presents choral music from Scandinavia and the Baltic
The Chorus will make the most of the City Hall ballroom's fabulous acoustic by presenting 45 minutes of choral music from Scandinavia and the Baltic in another of the increasingly popular 'After Hours' concerts, enabling you to hear the Chorus in a more intimate setting.
Starting at 9.15pm, the concert follows music by Grieg and Sibelius presented by the Halle and pianist Andrew Tyson, conducted by rising Norwegian star, Tabita Berglund, in the main hall.
Short it may be, beautiful it will be, so come on down and get up close and personal with South Yorkshire's foremost large mixed-voice choir, and immerse yourself in some wonderful choral music from northern Europe.
