Across a career spanning four decades, Jeff Williams has accompanied Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Lee Konitz, Dave Liebman, Randy Brecker, John Abercrombie and Joe Lovano, among others. Since making a second home in London, following marriage to novelist Lionel Shriver, Jeff Williams has performed in the UK with Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone and many of the leading UK and visiting international musicians. He also teaches and leads his own bands, such as this increasingly successful Quintet whose Lifelike CD has gained rave reviews that mirror their reception at gigs.
