A concert of music for All Souls, including Fauré Requiem

Sheffield Chamber Choir under the direction of Robert Webb return to St Marie's Cathedral to present a concert of choral music entitled "Nunc Dimittis" for All Souls. They will be performing several settings of this text alongside excerpts from Howells Requiem, Howells' beautiful Take Him Earth for Cherishing, written to the honoured memory of John F Kennedy, and music by Byrd, Greene, Harris and Holst. The second half of the concert will be the well-known and loved Requiem by Gabriel Fauré.

St Marie's Cathedral has one of the finest acoustics for choral music in Sheffield, and Sheffield Chamber Choir make the most of it. This free to entry concert will be one not to miss. There will be a retiring collection for Cathedral funds.
