Bridge Ensemble

Part of the Classical Sheffield Weekend 2023

Music in the Round's new Bridge Ensemble are Meera Maharaj (flute), Lorraine Hart (oboe), Ọlá Akindipe (clarinet), Benjamin Garalnick (horn) and Florence Plane (bassoon).

They have recently launched through Music in the Round's 'Bridging the Gap' scheme which is working to nurture, support and train these talented young wind musicians as a brand new wind quintet showcasing talent drawn from backgrounds under -represented in chamber music.
