The Brilliance of Bach

It’s hard to imagine a more powerful introduction to Bach’s work than the moving, magnificent St John Passion, written during his first year as a church music director in Leipzig. Sheffield Bach Choir perform the work, with soloists including Stephen Liley as the Evangelist and Thomas Hunt as Christ.
