Multi-award-winning pianist Paul Lewis performs some of Beethoven's finest writing for solo piano.

The Moonlight Sonata is one of the most famous and best-loved piano pieces ever written, regularly appearing in the top 20 of Classic FM’s Hall of Fame. The magisterial Diabelli Variations is considered by many to be one of the greatest ever achievements in solo piano writing. The work embraces humour, allusion and parody as each variation displays a distinct personality, while retaining coherence across its ambitious structure.

Early booking is recommended.

“Lewis keeps all options open in his elegant, sly and richly characterised performance [of the Diabelli Variations]. All in all, he again proves himself a major Beethoven interpreter.” The New York Times
